The 5PX Gen 2 UPS has a unity power factor (W=VA) and 11% more power than previous UPSs, allowing it to protect more servers. Energy Star 2.0 certification delivers best-in-class efficiency performance, allowing for significant energy and cooling cost savings.
A unique graphical LCD display places all operational information at a glance. Additionally, it boosts the capability for commissioning and configuration. Using Eaton's Gigabit network management card, 5PX Gen2 can be set up and updated remotely, making it easier to deploy (fleet management) and cutting down on maintenance costs.
5PX Gen2 accurately measures energy consumption down to the level of managed outlet groups. The LCD or Eaton's Intelligent Power Software can be used to monitor kWh numbers. Eaton's Intelligent Power Software interfaces smoothly with popular virtualization and cloud orchestration environments. Load segment control lets you prioritise shutting down non-essential equipment in order to keep the battery life of important devices (two groups).
