The BM-R series maintenance bypasses from Salicru allow a UPS to be completely disconnected without disrupting the power supply to the loads. Their use is critical for maintenance and repair work, which requires the removal of any voltage present in the device for safety reasons.
This model can switch without going through zero because it has an extra contact that plugs into an SLC TWIN RT2 series UPS and lets the user turn the device on or off.
