The Sentinel Tower is the best solution for ensuring maximum power reliability for mission-critical systems such as safety devices, telecommunications equipment, and information technology systems. The STW is made with cutting-edge parts and technology to make sure that powered loads are as safe as possible while affecting other systems as little as possible and saving as much energy as possible.
The STW 8000 has single-phase/three-phase input and single-phase output and employs online double-conversion technology, in which the load is continuously powered by the inverter, which produces a filtered and frequency-stabilized sinusoidal voltage. Input and output filters provide additional safeguards against power outages and lightning strikes.
In terms of technology and performance, the STW is one of the leading UPS series on the market today, with a three-level inverter that achieves 95% efficiency and a unity output power factor of 1, which increases system and device efficiency while reducing power system losses. The STW has an Economy Mode and a Smart Active Mode that can be activated and deactivated. It also has a new LCD display for custom diagnostics, RS232 and USB ports with Powershield3 software, an ESD input, and a slot for connecting other boards.
