The Sentryum S3M series provides the best combination of power availability, energy efficiency, and overall performance, resulting in lower installation and operating costs. It is the most recent Riello UPS development, resulting in a third-generation transformer-free UPS that was first introduced to the market over two decades ago. This ultimate solution has a unity output power factor (1 kVA = 1 kW) and online double conversion technology that meets VFI-SS-111 standards (as set out in standard IEC EN 62040-3). The Sentryum S3M series is a transformer-free uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with single-phase or three-phase input and single-phase output.
Sentryum is designed and built with cutting-edge technology and components. It employs advanced technologies such as DSP (digital signal processor), a dual-core microprocessor, three-level inverter circuits, and resonant control to provide maximum protection to critical loads while maintaining optimised energy savings. It is possible to reduce inverter output harmonic voltage distortion (1% at a resistive linear load and 1.5% at a non-linear load) and provide rapid response to all load variations with a unique control system, ensuring an outstanding sinewave under all conditions. Furthermore, Riello UPS's technological advances in digital control and power components help to reduce the grid's impact. Sentryum solves installation issues in systems where the power supply has limited power, the UPS is supported by a generator, or there are compatibility issues with loads that generate harmonic currents.
The Compact (CPT) cabinet frame is featured on the S3M 20 CPT A0 model, which is specifically designed to offer a compact but efficient solution for tailored applications. Thanks to the ultimate technologies used, this solution offers unrivalled power and autonomy in an extremely small space.
