The Multi Switch (MSW) is a 16A automated transfer switch that provides redundant power to equipment connected to two alternating currents (AC) input sources. If the primary input is interrupted, the load immediately switches to the secondary.

The MSW distributes power from two separate inputs. These power sources can be two distinct main supplies, two separate uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs of varying size or kind), or a combination of the two.

In the event of a load failure, MSW automatically disconnects the sockets attached to the load. If either of the two input sources exceeds tolerance criteria, it immediately switches to the second power source. When the sources are in phase, switching occurs almost instantly (8 msec). Even if they are not in phase, the transfer is quick (21 msec).
