The Multi Switch ATS is an automated transfer switch that ensures that equipment connected to two AC input sources receives redundant power. In the case that the primary feed is interrupted, the system automatically switches to a secondary source.
Two mains supply, two UPS (of various sizes), or a combination of both can be used as input sources. This 16A variant features eight IEC 10A sockets and one IEC 16A socket.
When a supply failure occurs, the Multi Switch ATS transfers the load to the secondary input. The transfer is instantaneous (8 msec) if the sources are in phase, and takes less than 21 msec if they are not. Any sockets linked to the load are promptly shut off when a short circuit or load failure occurs.
