A front terminal AGM battery family that is intended for operating temperatures up to 35°C.
FIAMM's FHT AGM VRLA series is suited for higher temperatures. Using superior grid alloy technology, these batteries can run for 7 years at 35°C. Because of the high-temperature design, operators can reduce cooling levels and save money on air-conditioning.
Microporous separators limit recombination currents and prevent thermal runaway. In order to avoid case bulging, the exterior is made of UL94 V0 flame retardant ABS-PC plastic (LOI > 28%).
The FHT range has front terminals for easy setup and fits into standard 19" and 23" cabinets. This design facilitates routine visual inspections. The series employs well-known VRLA technology and is 99 per cent recyclable. The battery is self-maintaining and requires no regular electrolyte top-up. The non-hazardous range can be carried by road, rail, or air. The design minimises self-discharge during storage.
