FIAMM created the FHC family using their superior grid alloy technology to withstand applications that require frequent charging and discharging. These demands might destroy standard batteries subjected to excessive cyclic duty. The negative plate's carbon and expander additions allow Partial State Of Charge (PSOC) operation.
The FHC range has a front terminal configuration and fits standard 19" and 23" racks and cabinets. This design facilitates routine visual inspections. Microporous separators limit recombination currents and prevent thermal runaway. To avoid case bulging, the exterior is made of UL94 V0 flame retardant ABS-PC plastic (LOI > 28%).
The FHC line is 99 per cent recyclable and uses proven VRLA technology. The battery is self-maintaining and requires no regular electrolyte top-up. The non-hazardous range can be carried by road, rail, or air.
