Load Capacity - A proven frame design, heavy-gauge mounting rails, and heavy-duty casters give static (3750 lb) and dynamic (2250 lb) load ratings (42U-52U). The 12U and 18U can hold 600 and 900 pounds (272/408kgs) of weight, respectively. In order to meet various earthquake standards, enclosures have been tested and approved.
Integrated electrical grounding - The roof, side panels, and front and back doors are all grounded. Eight more external grounding inserts are installed on the frame.

Adjustable mounting rails with captive hardware and rapid alignment - In 1/4 in (6.4 mm) increments, the vertical mounting rails may accommodate practically any mounting requirement. Enclosure mounting rail and side bracing have an easy alignment function built-in for rapid alignment verification without tools. numbered front and rear for quick equipment installation.
Enclosure assemble-to-order (ATO) options capable - Enclosure ATO (Assemble-to-Order) options allow for more customisation than typical enclosure types. Enclosure assembly customisation does not include additional enclosure mounted components. For example, the enclosure can be built without sides, doors, or both.
Integrated joining hardware with multiple width enclosure alignment - Enclosures come with pre-installed joining gear to unite enclosures in a row and provide stability. Depending on the floor plan, the pre-installed joining hardware contains 600mm or 24" centre holes.
Split rear doors - Split rear doors allow easier access to rack-mounted equipment. This helps maximise floor space. The door swing requires only 11 inches (279 mm) of clearance behind the enclosures.
Low-profile castors and adjustable leveling feet from underneath or above - All enclosures come with levelling feet and castors. A screwdriver or drill may easily change levelling feet, eliminating the need to reach underneath with a wrench.
Pre-installed full-enclosure height rear accessory channels - Integrated and adjustable rear accessory channel for toolless accessory mounting. Each channel includes two mounting bays for up to four accessories (PDUs, vertical cable organisers, etc.). 1070mm (42in), 825mm (32in), and deep enclosures have two channels. Enclosures 1200mm deep have four channels. Channels are pre-installed in the enclosure's back but can be moved to different locations along the side bracing to reposition cable management.
Special packaging options for shipping rack with equipment pre-racked - Standard enclosures with shock packaging are designed to ship with equipment placed inside. Recent Cisco certification for pre-racking and shipping Cisco Unified Computing Systems (UCS).

Cable access openings with pre-installed brushes - Large roof cable egress apertures allow for overhead cable exit. The raised floor design allows for easy cable access. The roof has pre-installed brush strips towards the front of the enclosure for data cable passthrough and air containment.
Easily removable cable access roof - Simply remove the roof to access the equipment or cabling already in situ and routed through the cable apertures. The roof is reversible once removed to replace the larger cable ports for power distribution outlets.
Perforated front door with curved profile - Servers and networking equipment benefit from perforated front and rear doors. The front door perforated area is maximised with a curved design for additional surface area, coverage, and perforation rating.
Quick release doors - Front doors can be switched with rear doors. A simple lift-off design removes doors simply.
Simple Selection - No need to choose from dozens of part numbers to build a single enclosure. In addition, Schneider Electric provides complete enclosures with single part numbers.
Enclosure adjustment tools and hardware provided - Hardware for attaching IT equipment and tools for simple enclosure adjustment are included with every enclosure.
Equipment mounting rails integrate with patch cabling systems - Installation of Data Distribution Cable (DDC) patch systems is possible without using valuable equipment U-space by using zero U mounting holes beside EIA 19" mounting space. Enclosures for AV and networking do not have holes for DDC cabling. Other 1U, 2U, and 0U choices are available for these enclosures.
Eyebolt support integrated into enclosure frame - Integrated eyebolt holes at the top of the enclosure frame allow for easy movement and installation. Refer to the enclosure user manual for eyebolt requirements and enclosure weight limits.
Half-height side panels and option with brush strips for pass-through - Easy handling and access to equipment with half-height fast release side panels. The side panels lock with the same key as the doors. Optional side panels with pass-through holes and brush strips allow cables to be routed between racks while preserving optimum airflow.
