The APC Back-UPS is a surge protector and battery backup to protect computers and electronic equipment. The home and office backup solution provides autonomy of almost 4 minutes at 300 watts. This allows for a graceful shutdown in the event of a power failure or mains power outage. Additionally, the unit features four surge protectors.
The intuitive design features battery-protected and surge-only outlets. This feature allows suitable runtime for essential equipment that requires UPS battery backup while protecting less critical equipment against power sags and surges.
The APC Back-UPS has a handy LED status display and audible alarms to provide indicators of power conditions. In addition, a battery self-test ensures that the user is alerted well before a battery needs replacing. The manufacturer ensures maximum protection for electronic equipment by offering a two-year 'repair or replace' warranty.
