The APC Back-UPS is a battery backup and surge protector that prevents computers and other electronic devices from being damaged by extended power outages or surges in electrical current. The backup UPS solution provides battery power of over two minutes at 520 watts. In the event of a mains failure, this battery backup provides power for up to six connected devices and two devices for surge protection.
Other features of the APC Back-UPS include fast battery replacement, battery protected outlets, cold-start capability, surge-only outlets and hot-swappable batteries. There is also surge protection for devices connected through USB Type-C and A ports and Ethernet networks.
The APC Back-UPS features audible alarms and an LED status display to show power status, battery condition, and overload. Also, improved battery self-test features give early warning to arrange for timely battery replacement. The manufacturer offers a comprehensive two-year warranty and equipment protection policy with lifetime coverage of £50,000.
