This allows for a graceful shutdown in the event of a sudden mains outage or power failure. Furthermore, the unit has adjustable voltage sensitivity, allowing you to configure the UPS for maximum performance in specific power situations. The intuitive design includes battery-protected and surge-only outlets. Power capacity and run-time are reserved for connected devices that require UPS battery backup, while surge protection is provided for less vital equipment.
To ensure smooth running, the APC Back-UPS has a handy LED status display and audible alarms to provide indicators of power conditions. In addition, battery self-test ensures early detection of a battery that needs to be replaced. The manufacturer ensures maximum protection for electronic equipment by offering a two-year warranty.
