The intuitive design includes battery-protected and surge-only outlets. Power capacity and run-time are reserved for connected devices that require UPS battery backup, while surge protection is provided for less vital equipment.
To ensure smooth running, the APC Back-UPS has a handy LED status display and audible alarms to provide indicators of power conditions. In addition, battery self-test ensures early detection of a battery that needs to be replaced. The manufacturer ensures maximum protection for electronic equipment by offering a two-year warranty.
