Switched Rack Power Distribution Units (PDUs) from APC allow for advanced, user-configured power regulation and active monitoring. Remote outlet level controls permit power on/off capabilities for remote equipment rebooting and limit unlawful use of individual outlets. Power sequencing delays let users choose the order in which connected devices turn on or off.
By prioritising load shedding, it is possible to prevent circuit overload during power restoration and increase the uptime of essential equipment. Current measurement enables remote, real-time monitoring of connected loads. Switched Rack PDUs have actual power monitoring, a temperature and humidity sensor port, locking IEC outlets, and low-profile circuit breakers. User-defined alerts forewarn of potential circuit overloads prior to catastrophic IT breakdowns. Through secure Web, SNMP, or Telnet interfaces, users can access, configure, and control Switched Rack PDUs.
