User-defined alarm thresholds reduce risk by sending local and remote alerts in real-time if a circuit is about to get too full. Data Center Managers have information about how much power is being used, so they can balance the load and make sure IT environments are the right size to lower the total cost of ownership.
Metered Rack PDUs have real power monitoring, a temperature and humidity sensor port, locking IEC receptacles, and ultra low-profile circuit breakers. Users can access and set up Metered Rack PDUs through secure Web, SNMP, or Telnet interfaces, which are backed up by APC Centralized Management platforms like InfraStruxure Central, Operations, Capacity, and Energy Efficiency.
